Shipping Policy

Shipping Information By purchasing your Cheong-Kwan-Jang products directly from KGC, you are assured of getting a product that is at all times handled properly according to manufacturer’s recommendations. At this time, we do not ship outside of the United States. However, if you are ordering from Canada, please visit our sister-site, www.kgccanada.com (the Toronto, Canadian branch of Korea Ginseng Corporation). You will be notified by email if we expect to be out of stock of part of your order for more than 5 working days or in the event of a price change or discontinued products. Shipping may be delayed up to 5 working days, at the discretion of the company, in order to locate or receive stock; if you notice any delay in the shipping of your order, please feel free to call us by phone or email to clarify the time-requirements of your order, or to make changes as required for any not-yet-shipped products. Expedited shipments are expedited only when the full order is available for shipping. If you absolutely need an expedited order to arrive by a certain date, you must contact us by email or phone to ensure or modify the delivery order. Shipping within the United States Parcels are generally sent using UPS. All items purchased are shipped UPS from Irvine, CA. Rarely, an order shall be sent from Los Angeles or Cerritos, CA. Generally, delivery shall be made within 1-5 business days and will arrive to a US-destination within 10 business days. If your order is taking longer than 10 business days to arrive, please call or email us immediately.
 Lost Parcels Please contact us if your parcel has not been received within 15 days or your Tracking Number indicates a lost item. We will initiate a search and advise you of our findings. We will make a claim and if results are verified as a lost item, will reimburse your credit card. In most cases, a lost package is easy to confirm and replacement and reimbursement will be swift. (This does not apply in the case of international shipments, which may take up to 4 months to investigate, depending on courier service policies; although it is not our policy to ship internationally at this time.) Sales Terms Returns All sales are final (however, you may contact us if you have any concern). If, for some rare reason, you are approved to return an unopened product and do not wish to receive a replacement product, then the costs of shipping the products will be taken from the balance of any refund given. Any reimbursement will be made on verification that the product has not been opened or used. (Note: We do not and will not re-sell any returned edible merchandise.) In the very rare case of manufacturing defects, we can accept returns within 14 days of your having received the product. Credit will only be given for products returned undamaged and unopened, which have verified defects of the material, confirmed by detailed inspection, and which have been received within 14 days of receipt. (Packaging defects and packaging damage acquired during shipping are not considered for these returns. Each product is inspected prior to ship-out to ensure it is not damaged. If damage occurs in the shipping process, that issue will be taken up with the courier service on your behalf. You may order a replacement; however, a refund for the damaged item will only be issued if the courier service determines damage was made in the shipping process and not after receipt.) Customs Charges We will not accept responsibility for any customs or governmental charges or seizures incurred through shipping to international destinations. These charges and costs are the responsibility of the person ordering. It is not our policy at this time to ship internationally. • Shipping fees are non-refundable. DISCLAIMER: • Address or other customer error: If a package is returned to KGC due to address error (or any other error) made by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. Our policy will be to attempt to contact the customer for re-shipping (if you feel your product is taking too long to deliver, do not hesitate to contact us by email or phone). If the customer does not wish to attempt a re-ship, a refund will be issued for unopened, undamaged merchandise only. If any government or authority has opened or damaged the product, due to customer error of address or information, we cannot issue a refund for those products, which are damaged or opened. • Violation of laws: If a package is returned to KGC due to violation of any local laws, the customer will be responsible for any fees (such as quarantine, warehousing or shipping) billed to KGC. A refund will be issued for unopened, undamaged merchandise only. • Customer refusal: If a customer refuses a package because of additional fees (or for any other reason), KGC will issue a refund for unopened, undamaged merchandise only, upon receipt of the returned package. The customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. • Customs seizure: If a package has been halted/seized/opened/damaged by any government or authority in the normal process of delivering to the customer-designated address, you will not receive credit for the products affected. If and when KGC receives the returned package, a refund will be issued for unopened, undamaged merchandise only. • For any returned package: For any order that is returned to KGC, if return shipping cost is greater than the cost of goods ordered, KGC will instruct the carrier to abandon the package. In such a case, the customer will not receive a refund for the order, but will not be liable for the return shipping cost. • Opened products, damaged, destroyed or unreturned package: If a package has been destroyed, opened, or damaged by any government agency, authority, carrier, or the customer and has otherwise not been returned to KGC in original condition, we cannot issue a refund for the order, except per the measures described elsewhere in these policies.
